Insolvency proceedings of bmp greengas GmbH suspended

Following approval of the insolvency plan by a large majority of creditors and subsequent confirmation by the court, the suspension of the proceedings means that bmp greengas GmbH is now fully capable of doing business again. The core business of bmp greengas comprises the marketing and supply of biomethane for the EEG, heating and transport markets.

Background: In May 2023, bmp greengas applied for insolvency protection proceedings after the risk and maturity ratio of its sales contracts concluded with customers, and purchase contracts concluded with suppliers, deteriorated dramatically as a result of the war in Ukraine and the subsequent effect on the market.
