bmp greengas presents biomethane solutions at E-World

Munich/Essen (Germany), January 12, 2026 – bmp greengas, one of Europe’s leading biomethane traders, will be at E-World in Essen from February 10 to 12, 2026. At the joint stand with VNG Handel & Vertrieb GmbH (Hall 1, Stand 1C102), the company will present its green solutions for the energy transition.

“Biomethane continues to play a key role in defossilization and decarbonization,” says Stefan Schneider, Managing Director of bmp greengas. “Whether as fuel for maritime sector or road transport, for heat or power generation, or use in industry – those who rely on renewable gas meet regulatory requirements and achieve sustainability goals faster.” Biomethane has the same combustion properties as natural gas and can therefore be transported via the same grid, blended with fossil gas, or used as a full substitute.

At Europe’s largest energy trade fair, E-World, bmp greengas experts will present various solutions for sectors such as industry, mobility, and energy. They will also advise on guarantees of origin, certificates, and potential exemptions from CO₂ levy. In addition, biogas plant operators are invited to discuss biomethane from substrates expected to be in high demand and explore their individual opportunities.
